Data Project Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Project Manager to lead data-driven projects and analytical models that directly influence business decision-making at a leading financial institution.

In this role, you will serve as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and data teams, translating complex business needs into actionable analytical solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Lead data projects from initial requirement gathering and business mapping through to organizational implementation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior business executives alongside Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Data Analysts.
• Technical Translation: Convert business pain points into technical data requirements and characterize solutions based on analytical models and Machine Learning.
• Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the development and deployment of data solutions within a complex, large-scale enterprise environment.
• Strategic Planning: Build comprehensive work plans and project roadmaps to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
• Performance Optimization: Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to continuously measure and improve product impact.
• Implementation & Support: Oversee the adoption and integration of data solutions within the business units.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience specifically in Data Project Management.
• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the Data ecosystem: BI, analytical modeling, and Machine Learning workflows.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to translate business needs into data architecture and solution characterization.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience managing multiple interfaces and leading complex organizational processes.
• Product Lifecycle Knowledge: Deep understanding of the development lifecycle for analytical models and data products.
• Communication: Exceptional analytical thinking and the ability to present complex findings to senior leadership.
