We are looking for an experienced High-Speed Board Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team developing advanced electronic systems.
This role involves end-to-end board design, hands-on bring-up, debugging, and close collaboration with FPGA, software and system engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex digital boards from concept through bring-up and validation
- Perform board bring-up, debugging, and hardware testing
- Support integration and troubleshooting at both board and system levels
- Work closely with FPGA, software, and system engineers
- Support transition of designs into production
- Prepare technical documentation including test procedures, design descriptions, and operating instructions
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a leading university
- At least 6 years of experience in digital board design
- Experience designing high-speed digital systems with FPGA and CPU environments
- Strong understanding of clock distribution and high-speed interfaces (25GHz and above)
- Experience with component selection and schematic design
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and lab debugging
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FPGA-based systems
- Experience using high-speed lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Ability to analyze and debug integrated HW/SW systems at board and system levels
- Experience writing technical documentation
Tools
- Experience with OrCAD / Allegro
- Familiarity with SI/PI analysis tools
