Economist/Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Economist/Business Analyst to join our premier consulting team in Tel Aviv. This position offers the unique opportunity to join the leading Israeli non-Big 4 Transfer Pricing and Valuation firm, which also stands as a prominent leader in the U.S. market. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of economics and finance, providing critical advisory services to Israeli and "Rest of World" (ROW) multinationals. You will be instrumental in helping global clients navigate complex intercompany pricing strategies and high-stakes valuation issues within a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating consulting environment.

In this role, you will perform sophisticated economic and financial analyses to solve cross-border pricing and valuation challenges. Your daily impact will include:

• Financial Modeling: Designing and maintaining complex Excel models to analyze intercompany transactions and perform business valuations.
• Benchmarking & Analysis: Conducting economic research using global databases to identify comparable market returns and arm’s length pricing.
• Valuation Services: Assisting in the valuation of intangible assets (IP), equity, and financial instruments for M&A, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Reporting & Documentation: Drafting comprehensive economic reports and technical documentation for tax authorities and stakeholders in both Israel and the U.S.
• Multinational Strategy: Working directly with global clients to align their transfer pricing policies with international standards (OECD/BEPS).

We are looking for a candidate who combines technical precision with a creative approach to problem-solving.

• Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in economic consulting, valuation, or a related financial analytic role.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with pivot tables, complex formulas, and building financial models from scratch).
• Language: Complete fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory, as the majority of our work and client interaction is conducted in English.
• Analytical Mindset: A creative and analytical thinker capable of distilling complex data into clear, defensible insights.
