Chief Engineer – HQ Role

·       Lead engineering and professional oversight of engineering departments across infrastructure, roads, tunnels, and rail projects

·       Full responsibility for planning, execution, and engineering quality control throughout all project phases

·       Manage and mentor senior engineering teams; build professional capabilities and career development pathways within the organization

·       Represent the company before regulatory authorities, external consultants, international partners, and clients

·       Manage engineering interfaces with supervision bodies and clients

·       Provide engineering solutions to complex field challenges and respond rapidly to critical incidents

·       Lead tender submission processes and provide engineering support to estimation and business development teams

·       Drive innovation in work methods, technologies, and emerging infrastructure standards and regulations

·       Oversee engineering risk management and compliance with the highest safety standards

Mandatory Requirements

·       B.Sc. in Civil Engineering – required

·       Valid licensed engineer certification – required

·       15+ years of cumulative experience in infrastructure engineering, including at least 7 years in senior roles

·       Proven track record in engineering management of large-scale, complex transportation and/or infrastructure projects

·       In-depth knowledge of Israeli building codes and Ministry of Transportation standards

·       Ability to manage large professional teams and work across multiple stakeholder interfaces

·       Full proficiency in Hebrew and English – written and spoken

Significant Advantage

·       M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, MBA, or relevant advanced degree

·       Experience in metro, light rail, tunneling, or high-capacity transportation infrastructure projects

·       Familiarity with international work environments and collaboration with foreign contractors

·       Experience managing EPC / Design-Build contracts
