Software Release Manager

We are looking for a strategic and highly organized Software Release Manager to lead our release operations across a diverse portfolio of On-Premise and SaaS solutions. In this role, you will be the conductor of our delivery engine, ensuring that complex software updates reach our customers on time, with uncompromising quality.

Responsibilities:

Release Strategy and Orchestration:

• Plan and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for multiple concurrent streams, including SaaS deployments and complex On-Premise versioning.
• Maintain the release calendar and coordinate across different scrums to ensure zero-conflict delivery schedules.
  
  

• Serve as a "Scrum Master to the Scrum Masters," providing coaching on Agile delivery, velocity optimization, and consistent process application.
• Standardize Agile practices across scrums to ensure a unified approach to the "Definition of Ready", "Definition of Done” and scrum’s ceremonies.
  
  

• Under the direction of the Director of Program Manager , define, measure, and analyze key delivery metrics (e.g., Release Burn-down, Defect Escape Rate, Actual Vs Planned)
• Provide data-driven visibility into release health, risks, and post-release performance to senior leadership.
  
  

• Enforce high standards of delivery quality, ensuring all releases pass rigorous automated testing, security audits, and compliance checks before reaching production.
• Proactively identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and environmental bottlenecks.
• Manage the risk registry for releases, implementing contingency plans to prevent delays in high-stakes customer commitments.
  
  

• Manage and optimize the release management toolchain within JIRA, Structure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive continuous improvement by conducting version retrospectives to refine the release process.
  
  

• Proven Experience: Minimum 5+ years as a Release Manager or Program Manager in an Agile environment, specifically managing SaaS software distributions.
• Agile Leadership: Expert-level understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with JIRA (Advanced), EazyBI, and Structure for tracking complex portfolios.
• Coaching Mindset: Demonstrated ability to mentor Scrum Masters and technical teams in a high-pressure delivery environment.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate raw project data into actionable KPIs and executive-level reports.
• Strategic Coordination: Exceptional skill in managing dependencies across distributed development teams
• Communication: Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills; the ability to balance the needs of Product Management, Engineering, and DevOps.
• Cross-Cultural Competence: Proven ability to communicate effectively and build consensus with teams across different time zones and cultural backgrounds, ensuring alignment despite geographical gaps
