Platforms & Innovation Team Lead

Comblack is looking for a Platforms & Innovation Team Lead to join a leading financial organization in central Israel.

This role combines leadership, architecture, and broad organizational impact, offering a unique opportunity to drive technological innovation that supports hundreds of developers and critical enterprise systems.

What will you do?

• Lead a Platform/DevOps team and define the platform’s technological roadmap.
• Identify and implement new technologies, lead POCs, and promote innovative solutions (including Generative AI).
• Drive technological and process transformations across the organization while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Provide architectural guidance for complex platform solutions while maintaining hands-on capabilities when needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience leading a technical team (DevOps / Platform).
• Strong experience working with complex production cloud environments at scale, supporting critical systems.
• Proficiency with DevOps and automation tools, with development capabilities in Python or Java.
• Experience working in hybrid environments (Cloud + On-Premise).
• Proven experience leading innovative technology projects from the ground up.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes / EKS and container management.
• Experience implementing Generative AI or LLMOps solutions in organizations.
• Familiarity with FinTech environments and banking regulations.
• Experience with AWS or Azure.
