We are recruiting a Software Configuration Manager (SCM) for a defense organization located in northern Israel.
Responsibilities:
- Work with configuration management and version control tools in complex, multi-version development environments
- Manage versions and changes in source code
- Take responsibility for release processes and baseline freezes
- Build and maintain scripts and automation for build and release processes
- Document configurations and manage Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure consistency between development, testing, and production environments
- Support development teams and system engineering teams with configuration management throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Software Configuration Management (SCM)
- Experience working with one of the following tools: ClearCase / Azure DevOps / SVN
- Experience managing versions, releases, and baselines in multi-component environments
- Deep understanding of software development, testing, and release processes
- Experience writing scripts and automation for build and release processes - an advantage
