Back End Developer

A prominent publicly traded global corporation specializing in the design and manufacturing of advanced industrial automation solutions is expanding its cloud engineering division.

The company is a world leader in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and smart manufacturing technologies, providing critical infrastructure for industrial sectors worldwide.

The organization's R&D center focuses on building high-scale SaaS platforms that integrate hardware telemetry with advanced cloud-native services.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates an in-office work model.

Role Overview:

• Scalable Cloud Development: Architecting and implementing large-scale Django-based cloud services within an AWS environment.
• Microservices Orchestration: Designing, deploying, and maintaining complex microservices architectures managed via Kubernetes.
• Performance Optimization: Leading data and performance tuning initiatives, ensuring the reliability and security of high-concurrency industrial systems.
• AI Integration: Implementing AI capabilities and intelligent workflows into core product offerings to enhance automation insights.
• Technical Mentorship: Providing guidance and code reviews for developers within a specialized microservices team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Backend Development using Python (Django) – Mandatory.
• 3+ years of experience building large-scale SaaS platforms or complex enterprise applications – Mandatory.
• 3+ years of hands-on expertise with AWS (including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Kinesis, and SQS/SNS) – Mandatory.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and managed microservices architectures.
• Deep proficiency in PostgreSQL and Redis; experience with ClickHouse is a significant advantage.
• Academic degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science or Engineering – Mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and architect robust technical solution
