Board Designer

The company's R&D and manufacturing center is located in Northern Israel (with a comprehensive shuttle network serving the northern region) and operates a hybrid work model with remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Full-Cycle Board Design: Leading the design and development of complex Mixed-Signal (Digital & Analog) boards from initial concept to production.
• High-Speed Systems: Architecting and implementing high-speed digital designs and FPGA-based PCB boards to support real-time thermal data processing.
• Schematic & Layout Leadership: Utilizing professional design suites (OrCAD, Cadence Allegro) for schematic capture and working in close collaboration with PCB layout engineers.
• Strategic Design: Navigating complex design trade-offs and layout rules to ensure optimal performance in ruggedized, mission-critical environments.
• Hardware Integration: Driving the integration of hardware components within advanced electro-optical systems, ensuring high reliability and signal integrity.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field – Mandatory.
• 7 years of hands-on experience in PCB and FPGA-based board design – Mandatory.
• Expertise in Schematic Capture and PCB design tools – Mandatory.
• Deep understanding of high-speed digital design principles and signal integrity.
• Proven track record of working closely with PCB layout engineers and managing the transition from design to physical layout.
