Chief Technology Officer (CTO) | Marketing Technology Company
A well-established, profitable, and market-leading company in the Marketing Technology space is looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology organization.
The company develops advanced marketing-tech products used by a wide range of clients and operates with a mature, stable business model. The CTO will play a key role in shaping the company’s technology strategy while leading and scaling a development team of approximately 30 engineers.
About the Role
The CTO will be responsible for the overall technology vision, architecture, and execution of the company’s product roadmap. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technological depth and close collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the company’s technology strategy and roadmap
- Manage and develop a team of ~30 engineers including team leads and senior developers
- Oversee architecture, scalability, and reliability of the company’s marketing-tech platform
- Work closely with product and business leadership to align technology with company goals
- Lead technological innovation and continuous improvement of development processes
- Ensure high standards of engineering quality, performance, and security
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (CTO / VP R&D / Head of Engineering)
- Experience managing mid-to-large engineering teams
- Strong background in product development and scalable systems
- Experience working in B2B SaaS or Marketing Technology environments – an advantage
- Strategic thinking alongside strong execution capabilities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of English – written and spoken
