Satellite Systems Engineer

Join the Space Division at the Missiles & Space Group and take part in the development of advanced satellite systems. This role involves leading system design processes and working with multidisciplinary engineering teams on cutting-edge space technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and characterize system processes and system architecture

• Lead and take responsibility for overall system design

• Model system components and define interfaces between subsystems

• Participate in internal and customer design reviews

• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams including electronics, mechanics, electro-optics, control, wireless communications, and software, as well as subcontractors

• Participate in system integration and verification activities

• Lead and oversee system engineering activities throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aeronautical Engineering, Electro-Optics, or Mechanical Engineering – mandatory

• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Aeronautics, or Mechanical Engineering – advantage

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading system design processes for complex systems (Systems of Systems) – mandatory

• Experience working with space systems – advantage

• Experience in airborne systems and/or electro-optical systems development – advantage

• High level of English – reading, writing, and speaking
