Senior Software Engineer

SnkeXR is an open-platform augmented reality (AR) headset purpose-built for the medical industry. It is designed to facilitate and accelerate the adoption and integration of AR technologies into medical devices and workflows.

With SnkeXR, medical device companies can develop and deploy customized applications directly on the glasses, or seamlessly connect their devices to enhance performance, functionality, and user experience.

We are seeking a Senior C++ Developer with solid software engineering fundamentals and a background in computer vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C++ applications.
• Integrate C++ components into XR frameworks or engines (Godot, Unity).
• Develop and interface with Android subsystems when applicable (JNI, NDK).
• Optimize code for speed, memory efficiency, and reliability.
• Debug complex systems involving real-time rendering, sensors, and device hardware.
• Contribute to continuous integration and automated testing pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17 or newer).
• Experience developing and integrating computer vision algorithms.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, memory management, and multithreading.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in XR (AR/VR/MR) environments — OpenXR, Unity XR.
• Hands-on experience developing above Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Android NDK.
• Understanding of performance profiling and low-level optimization
