We are at the pre-seed stage and looking for a Technical Co-Founder / Founding CTO to join us and build Sailor from the ground up. This is not a standard employee CTO role — it is a founder-level position for someone who wants to take ownership of the technology, product architecture, and long-term technical vision of the company.

As Technical Co-Founder / Founding CTO, you will be responsible for shaping the entire technical foundation of Sailor, from architecture and MVP build to future scalability. You will work side by side with the founder as a true partner in defining product direction, making key strategic decisions, and turning a validated market opportunity into a real company.

This role requires someone who is excited by zero-to-one building: designing the system architecture, making early product and infrastructure decisions, hiring and leading the future technical team, and creating the technical culture of the company from day one. Beyond strong technical ability, we are looking for someone who wants to take real ownership, help shape the business, and build something meaningful for the long term.

• Strong software engineering and system architecture skills, with the ability to build scalable, reliable, and robust products from scratch
• Experience building or leading products in early-stage startup environments, ideally from zero to one
• Founder mentality with high ownership, strong judgment, and willingness to work through ambiguity
• Ability to translate business needs and product vision into practical technical decisions and execution
• Product-minded approach, with an understanding of how to build user-centric, data-driven platforms that solve real market problems
• Leadership potential and strong communication skills, with the ability to grow into leading the future technical team
• Interest in building not only the technology, but also the company, culture, and long-term technical vision
• Experience in fintech, logistics, marketplaces, network-based products, or B2B SaaS is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with international markets and globally distributed products is a plus
