✈️ What You’ll Be Building

This is not a “write code and wait for QA” role.

You will:

🔹 Design, code, and optimize airborne software running on FreeRTOS and Linux

🔹 Work on mission-critical systems inside advanced UAS platforms

🔹 Collaborate daily with system engineers, hardware, algorithms, and integration teams

🔹 Take part in field trials, system integration, testing, and troubleshooting

🔹 Turn complex requirements into stable, real-time, airborne solutions

Some days you’ll be deep in C++ and architecture decisions.

Other days you’ll be standing next to an aircraft, laptop open, fixing things in real time.

You’ll fit right in if you:

✔ Have 5+ years of strong C++ and OOP experience

✔ Are comfortable working in RTOS and Linux environments

✔ Understand communication protocols and HW-SW integration

✔ Can troubleshoot complex, multidisciplinary system issues

✔ Like working fast, learning constantly, and owning your code end-to-end

✔ Enjoy collaboration and don’t hide behind tickets and specs

✔ Are genuinely passionate about aviation and aerospace

🎯 Bonus Points If You Bring

✨ Experience with embedded / real-time systems

✨ Background in video or image processing

✨ Python knowledge

✨ Experience with military and/or airborne C2 systems
