Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a Cyber Defense Expert

Role Overview:

Lead end-to-end cybersecurity protection across the organization, including infrastructure, networks, systems and applications. The role focuses on designing secure architectures, operating security platforms, monitoring threats and leading response processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure architecture across infrastructure and applications
Define security policies, standards and operational procedures
Operate and maintain security and communication systems
Monitor security events and detect cyber threats
Manage and review security rules and controls across security platforms
Lead response processes during security incidents
Support security assessments and remediation activities
Guide internal teams on security best practices for infrastructure and applications

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Cyber Defense / Security Expert
Hands-on experience operating security and network protection systems
Proven experience designing secure architectures
Experience implementing security controls across infrastructure and security platforms
Relevant cybersecurity certifications – advantage
