Full stack Team Lead (Frontend-Focused)

We’re looking for a hands-on Fullstack Team Lead with deep frontend expertise and strong backend experience. You will lead a cross-functional team, own frontend architecture, and build scalable, secure, high-performance web applications — including browser-based products and extensions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Architecture

• Lead and mentor frontend/full-stack engineers
• Define frontend architecture, standards, and best practices
• Drive technical decisions and collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams
• Lead agile/scrum ceremonies and technical planning

Frontend Expertise

• Build and maintain design systems and shared component libraries
• Implement design tokens and Figma-to-code workflows
• Own Storybook for documentation and visual testing
• Conduct accessibility audits (axe-core, screen reader testing) and remediation
• Apply frontend security best practices (CSP, XSS prevention, secure auth flows)
• Implement internationalization (i18n) and RTL support
• Optimize performance (code splitting, lazy loading, bundle analysis)
• Work within monorepos (Nx, Turborepo, or similar)
• Develop and maintain browser extensions (Chrome/Firefox), including background scripts, secure messaging, and performance optimization

Backend Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services (Node.js/TypeScript or similar)
• Develop and maintain REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Implement authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, session-based flows)
• Optimize performance through caching and efficient data handling
• Ensure logging, monitoring, and observability
• Collaborate on system architecture and API design

Requirements:

• 7+ years of frontend/full-stack experience
• 2+ years in a technical/team lead role
• Strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React / Next.js / similar)
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments
• Strong architectural thinking with hands-on execution
