We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the and oversee the company’s operational activities. This role is responsible for managing site operations, vendor relationships, service providers and local procurement, while ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-functioning work environment that supports the organization’s business activities.
The Operations Manager will oversee and be in charge over all operational aspects of the company and serve as a central function supporting multiple departments. The role includes managing the day-to-day operations of the office site, leading employees, vendor and service provider management, and overseeing procurement processes, safety, security, emergency preparedness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
This is role is for maternity Leave Replacement
Responsibilities
- Manage all operational activities of the office site.
- Lead procurement processes, vendor engagements, and contract management.
- Manage and supervise employees, external vendors and service providers including cleaning, maintenance, security, catering, and other operational services.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, emergency preparedness (business continuity), and relevant operational regulations, including developing and implementing relevant policies and procedures.
- Lead operational projects and infrastructure-related initiatives.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and workflows to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Manage operational and procurement budgets and track expenses.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address operational needs across the organization.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for employees.
What we expect
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing operations and procurement within a high-tech company.
- Experience managing operations in a mid-size or large office environment.
- Proven experience managing vendors and external service providers.
- Experience leading operational projects such as office renovations or infrastructure upgrades is an advantage.
- Familiarity with safety, security, and operational regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience working with vendors.
- Strong decision-making ability and sound professional judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- proactive, service-oriented, and hands-on professional with experience managing operations in a fast-paced environment.
