Role Description

This is a hybrid full-time role for a Substitute Librarian at the Ramat Gan Academic College. The position involves supporting the daily operations and services of the library, assisting students and faculty with locating and utilizing library resources, cataloging educational materials, and maintaining the organization of the library. The position requires occasional on-site presence in Ramat Gan, with the flexibility to complete some responsibilities remotely.

Qualifications

Proficiency in library systems, cataloging, and information organization
Customer service skills, including assisting students and faculty with library resources and inquiries
Organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining a well-structured library collection
Technological proficiency in library and digital information management systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Background in library sciences, information management, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Experience in academic institutions or in similar roles is an advantage
Proficiency in Hebrew and English for professional communication
