Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Firmware Security Engineer for a contract, hybrid role based in Ramat Gan. The role involves ensuring the security of firmware systems through the design, development, and implementation of robust security features, utiliIng the in-chip security capabilities. Responsibilities include analyzing potential vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, implementing firmware updates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on secure design best practices. This role allows a mix of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility while maintaining the highest level of coordination.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Application Security and Security Engineering
• Strong skills in Network Security and Information Security methodologies
• Experience in developing firmware for SoCs and MCUs - bootloader, kernel, linux, bare metal, etc.
• Experience in developing security solutions for SoCs and MCUs based systems - secure boot, code encryption, TrustZone, mTLS, etc.
• Familiarity with encryption algorithms, embedded systems, and secure firmware development
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical thinking
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations for security is a plus
• Experience in developing security solutions for Aerospace, Automotive, or IoT systems is advantageous
