We are looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer to join an innovative biotech startup developing cutting-edge computational methods for protein design.

This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced software engineer who enjoys solving complex algorithmic problems and building scalable systems in a fast-moving scientific environment.

Background in biology or bioinformatics is a plus – but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust Python libraries and algorithms

• Build and optimize computational pipelines used for large-scale scientific computations

• Automate internal workflows and improve system performance

• Develop and manage cloud-based infrastructure

• Collaborate with scientists working on computational protein design

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in Python development

• Strong experience designing scalable, production-level software

• Experience building data pipelines, algorithms or computational frameworks

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in biotech, bioinformatics or computational biology

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and large-scale pipelines

• Experience with machine learning or scientific computing
