Join one of Israel’s leading insurance companies as Application DBA- supporting large-scale, mission-critical production systems.
This is a great opportunity to take a key role within a stable, enterprise organization, working on complex databases that power critical business operations.
You will collaborate closely with development teams, leading performance optimization, database design, and hands-on SQL development to ensure production stability and reliability.
What You’ll Do:
- Writing and optimizing complex SQL Server queries
- Developing and improving stored procedures, functions, and views
- Investigating and resolving production performance issues
- Analyzing execution plans and improving query efficiency
- Supporting data-related releases and deployments
- Working on ETL processes and data migrations
- Collaborating closely with developers and system analysts
- Helping ensure database stability and performance in live systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Application DBA -Must
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server (Familiarity with performance monitoring tools: SQL Server Profiler, Performance Monitor) -Must
- Experience working in production environments
- Experience with management tools: SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
- Ability to design databases (database design) and apply normalization principles
- Experience in developing and optimizing complex stored procedures
- Understanding of application architecture and its interaction with the database
- .NET - Advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field -Advantage
- Background in insurance or financial systems -Advantage
