Accounting Manager

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager to join the finance department at Union Investments & Development (part of the Union Group). You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of the company and its subsidiaries. We are seeking a leader who is as comfortable managing complex accounting processes as they are mentoring and leading a team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Manage, mentor, and motivate our bookkeeping and accounting team to ensure high-performance standards and seamless workflow.
• Actively identify, implement, and streamline work processes to enhance department efficiency.
• Lead the end-to-end preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Income Tax and VAT audits. Ensure rigorous adherence to all regulatory requirements, including international taxation and VAT reporting.
• Monitor financial obligations and provide accurate, timely data to support the CFO and senior management in decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Mandatory
• 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally starting in a Big 4 firm followed by industry experience
• Proven experience in team management, with a track record of motivating staff and fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment
• Solid command of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes
• Practical knowledge of international taxation is a significant advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
