• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 3 years of experience with software development in Go, Python or C# programming languages, or 2 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithm.

The team owns the fundamental architecture and shared services that underpin the entire Chronicle Security Operations, Automation, and Response (SOAR) product. Our focus is on the "how" of the product, ensuring that every case, investigation, and automated response flow executes on a high-performing engine.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services that support Chronicle SOAR’s high-concurrency investigation and agentic response flows.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Build and optimize internal tools and CI/CD pipelines to streamline resource orchestration and empower feature teams to deploy with confidence.
• Drive the adoption of enterprise-grade patterns, ensuring that new features adhere to standards for modularity, performance, and security across the microservices ecosystem.
