Corporate Legal Counsel

ScyllaDB, a fast-growing global high-tech innovative company providing managed cloud database solutions for high-profile enterprise customers, is seeking a talented, highly motivated team player Corporate Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team. ScyllaDB is located in Herzliya Pituach.

As a Corporate Legal Counsel at ScyllaDB, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our legal team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and innovative tech environment. You will contribute to critical projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide, and help ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

What you'll do:

• Draft and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including commercial SaaS agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, data processing agreements, , and partnership agreements, and ensure that all commercial agreements adequately protect the company’s interests, improve processes, and increase scalability;
• Advise on all legal aspects of our business including privacy and other product-related matters;
• Draft terms of service, contracts, and other legal documents;
• Analyze applicable global regulations and follow up on ongoing updates;
• Provide legal support to all teams at ScyllaDB;
• Work with external counsels (in Israel, the US, Europe, and abroad) and implement business-enabling solutions; and
• Work closely with our product teams advising on all global legal aspects of our activities
  
  

• 1-3 years of experience (post internship) in commercial and corporate law as an associate in a hi-tech department of a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal work with a global tech company .
• Qualified lawyer and member of the Israel Bar Association (an additional certification in another jurisdiction is a plus).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills and ability to connect with, and gain the respect of, cross-functional stakeholders.
• A collaborative ‘can-do’ approach and an interest in working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• The ability to lead complex tasks and projects independently with high integrity and professionalism, while demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and eagerness to learn.
• Strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize multiple cross-department tasks and deadlines.
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Experience with handling personal data protection is an advantage.
