US Finance & Operations Specialist

Reports to: VP Finance

About the Role

A global consumer brand is looking for a hands on Finance & Operations Specialist to support the financial and operational activities of its US business.

The role combines financial processes with operational coordination and includes close collaboration with internal teams and external partners in the United States. The position is suited for someone who enjoys working with financial data, operational processes and cross functional teams in an international environment.

Previous experience working with US financial or operational activities is required.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Reporting

• Coordinate the monthly close process for US activities together with external accountants
• Review financial data and assist in preparing reports for Group Finance
• Coordinate US Sales Tax filings with external tax advisors
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Work with banks, accountants and tax advisors on ongoing financial matters

Operations & Inventory

• Monitor inventory related to US operations across financial and operational systems
• Work with logistics and finance teams on inventory analysis and COGS impact
• Support inventory controls and periodic physical counts
• Coordinate operational activities with logistics and fulfillment partners (3PL)

• Requirements
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance, Operations or similar business roles
• Experience working with US based financial or operational activities required
• Strong financial understanding and experience working with financial data
• Experience with inventory operations or US Sales Tax is an advantage
• Hands on approach with strong attention to detail
• Excellent English communication skills written and spoken
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems. Priority is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with stakeholders in a global environment
• Flexibility to occasionally work across US business hours

CPA or accounting certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
