Automation Engineer

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to join our verification team and play a key role in shaping the next generation of automation infrastructure.

This role focuses on building reliable and scalable automation solutions for integration and end‑to‑end (E2E) testing, improving test quality and efficiency, and supporting complex software systems through smart engineering practices. The position emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and continuous learning, including the use of modern and AI‑assisted tools to improve productivity and automation workflows.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys writing code for testing, building internal tools, and working closely with engineers to continuously improve how software is tested through smart engineering and modern automation practices.

Responsibilities:

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Explore and apply modern testing approaches and AI assisted tools to improve automation efficiency, test creation, and analysis
• Contribute ideas for improving workflows, reducing manual effort, and increasing test confidence

Automation Tools & Infrastructure

• Develop automation tools and test infrastructure to support integration and E2E testing
• Contribute to improving test frameworks and automation stability
• Participate in shaping scalable and maintainable automation solutions as part of a team

Automated Testing

• Design, implement, and maintain automated integration and end‑to‑end tests
• Collaborate with software and algorithm engineers to translate requirements and expected behaviors into effective automated test coverage
• Analyze test failures, investigate root causes, and work with development teams to resolve issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a preference for Biomedical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in software test automation, including modern test automation frameworks, such as Playwright and Cypress
• Strong hands-on programming experience (e.g., Python; is a plus)
• Experience designing and maintaining integration and end‑to‑end (E2E) automated tests.
• Experience leveraging AI‑assisted tools to improve development or testing efficiency
• Strong analytical thinking, ation skills, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Background in regulated, medical, or safety‑critical environments.
• Availability to work on-site in Herzliya at least 4 days per week.
