Security Researcher

An elite, independently profitable Israeli Cyber-Security firm is expanding its specialized research division. Operating without external funding, the company serves as a strategic partner for the National Security establishment and global tech leaders.

Specializing in Embedded Systems and Low-Level architecture, the firm conducts high-stakes offensive research for national missions alongside cutting-edge defensive solutions for the private sector.

The company’s research hub is located in Central Tel Aviv (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates an in-office work model due to the highly sensitive and discrete nature of its projects.

Role Overview:

• Vulnerability Research: Conducting deep-dive research to identify and analyze vulnerabilities in complex systems, including Embedded, IoT, and OS Kernels.
• Reverse Engineering: Performing comprehensive analysis of binaries and proprietary protocols across Linux and Windows environments.
• Low-Level Engineering: Writing mission-critical code in C and developing specialized Drivers or system components.
• Exploit Analysis: Developing sophisticated proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and advanced mitigation techniques for diverse hardware and software architectures.
• Specialized R&D: Working within an elite pod of researchers to solve high-impact technical challenges under a dynamic, project-based structure.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Vulnerability Research (VR) – Mandatory.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Reverse Engineering (RE) across multiple platforms – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in Embedded Systems or low-level software architecture – Mandatory.
• Expert-level proficiency in C programming – Mandatory.
• Extensive experience with OS Internals (Linux, Windows, or specialized RTOS).
• Mastery of debugging and disassembly tools (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, GDB).
• Ability to work on highly discrete, sensitive, and mission-critical projects.
