Mechanical Design Engineer

Efix Aviation develops hybrid-electric unmanned rotorcraft for long-range, heavy-lift missions. We're a small, focused team of aviation specialists moving fast from development into production. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute directly to the development of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

Take part in the full product lifecycle, from early-stage concept development and engineering analysis through detailed design and DFM optimization. Assemble mechanical systems and components in the workshop using real tools. Support testing activities and ongoing product improvements in the field. Work hands-on with hardware as well as in the CAD environment.

Required Qualifications

·      BSc in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering

·      2+ years of mechanical design experience

·      Hands-on assembly and testing mechanical systems

·      Strong proficiency in SolidWorks

·      Experience with 3D printing (FDM printers)

·      Independent, fast learner with strong attention to detail

·      Team-oriented mindset

·      Full-time availability on-site in Kadima

Preferred Qualifications

·      Background in UAVs, robotics, vehicles, or other multidisciplinary systems

·      Experience with FEM/FEA methodology

·      Experience using hand and power tools (drills, saws, fabrication tools, etc.)

·      Experience working in a startup environment
