Rust Software Engineer

An elite Israeli Deep-Tech startup and a pioneer in modern cryptography is expanding its core R&D center.

The company develops groundbreaking security solutions based on advanced protocols such as Multi-Party Computation (MPC), Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP), and Homomorphic Encryption.

Their platform enables high-performance computations on sensitive data while maintaining absolute privacy. Serving strategic global leaders in the Fintech and

Blockchain sectors, the organization bridges the gap between academic research and production-grade, AI-integrated security systems.

The company is located in Central Tel Aviv (within walking distance of the train station) and operates a highly flexible hybrid model with three days of remote work.

Role Overview:

• Technical Leadership: Leading a specialized team of developers in a high-intensity R&D environment, maintaining a ~50% hands-on contribution.
• Core Rust Development: Driving the design and implementation of performance-critical systems using Rust, ensuring the highest standards of security and efficiency.
• Architecture & Infrastructure: Designing and scaling SDKs and distributed systems within a Multi-Cloud environment using Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern backend technologies.
• Cryptographic Integration: Collaborating closely with research teams to translate complex cryptographic protocols and algorithms into robust, production-ready software components.
• End-to-End Ownership: Taking full responsibility for the development lifecycle, from low-level protocol implementation to cloud-native deployment.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience in Software Development – Mandatory.
• 2 years of experience in a Team Lead or Management role – Mandatory.
• Expert-level proficiency in Rust, C++, or C – Mandatory.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering complex, high-scale software systems.
• Practical experience with Cloud-native infrastructures (Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving deep-tech challenges
