Projects coordinator

About the Role: We are looking for a highly organized and proactive **Engineering & Operations Project Coordinator** to join our leading defense manufacturing facility.

The primary mission of this role is to create a real-time, reliable status picture of projects and actively drive tasks on the critical path to success. You will bridge the gap between our high-end mechanical engineering team, the Planning (PPC) department, and the production floor—ensuring that engineering requirements are translated into seamless operational workflows, from the initial drawing to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reflect an accurate, real-time status of development projects.
• Validate production plans against actual field progress to identify and resolve gaps.
• Proactively manage and expedite tasks within the project’s critical path.
• Coordinate between Engineering, Procurement, and Production to ensure resource availability.
• Support the transition from design to manufacturing (NPI process support).

Requirements:

• Practical Engineer in Industrial Engineering & Management or a related field – Must.
• High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (Priority preferred) – Must.
• Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment – Significant advantage.
• Exceptional organizational skills, self-management, and high attention to detail.
• Basic technical understanding and a desire to learn mechanical concepts and materials.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive processes in a dynamic environment.
