Chapter Lead

Matrix is hiring an experienced Chapter Leader to lead the Technical Project Owners (TPO) within a leading financial organization.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a tribe responsible for business services that support client interactions, defining, building, promoting, and developing platforms that deliver business and technological tools and services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a chapter of Technical Project Owners (TPOs), strengthening their capabilities in platform and product management.
• Support development teams in resolving complex technical challenges, handling cross-tribe projects, and managing complex interfaces.
• Promote teams ability to identify actions required from technological and operational perspectives and remove bottlenecks to enhance delivery capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and knowledge sharing across the chapter.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Architecture, Product, and Security teams to ensure successful delivery of business and technology platforms.

Requirements

• Relevant academic degree.
• At least 2 years of proven managerial experience with the ability to lead and motivate employees.
• At least years of experience in development or technical project ownership roles.
• Experience leading complex development initiatives with cross-functional scope, multiple stakeholders, and critical system dependencies.
• Broad understanding of organizational information systems and experience in architectural design, development processes, and advanced digital tools (e.g., A/B testing).
• Ability to challenge, shape, and lead innovative visions focused on value creation.
• Demonstrated skills in removing obstacles, risk awareness, and a “can-do” mindset.
