Facility Manager

Pi-Cardia, a dynamic medical device startup specializing in cardiovascular innovations, is looking for Facility Manager to join our Engineering team. The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, safety, and compliance of the company’s facilities across two sites in a commercial-stage medical device company. The role ensures reliable infrastructure, safe working environments, proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment, and compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all company facilities across two sites, including offices, production areas, warehouses, and supporting infrastructure.
• Creation of maintenance plan, working and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure full responsibility for safety and EHS aspects, including implementation of safety procedures, risk assessments, incident handling, and compliance with local regulations.
• Oversee maintenance, servicing, and calibration of production equipment, machinery, and supporting systems, in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and proper documentation of equipment maintenance and calibration records.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for infrastructure systems such as electricity, HVAC, water, compressed air, fire protection, and safety systems.
• Responsible for Business License management, including compliance with license requirements, renewals, inspections, and communication with authorities.
• Coordinate and supervise external service providers, contractors, and maintenance vendors.
• Support engineering, production, quality, and R&D teams with facility-related needs and projects.
• Lead facility-related projects such as site modifications, expansions, renovations, and equipment installation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 13485, GMP/GDP (as applicable), and internal quality procedures.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory visits related to facilities, safety, and equipment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Facilities or Maintenance Management.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industrial environments- strong advantage.
• Proven experience with production equipment maintenance and calibration management.
• Experience leading and supervising a maintenance technician and coordinating work with external contractors and vendors.
• Knowledge of safety, EHS, maintenance and calibration processes.
• Ability to work independently in a hands-on role with multiple interfaces.
• High organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Availability to respond to critical facility-related emergencies outside standard working hours, as required.
