Senior Legal Counsel

The Opportunity

Step into a lead legal role for a global B2C market leader in the high-growth live-streaming sector. With over 550 million users and a platform that empowers creators to monetize their talents in real-time, this is an environment where technology meets massive scale.

We are looking for a business-minded Generalist Legal Counsel to act as our legal backbone. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will navigate the complexities of a worldwide operation, ensuring our legal strategy matches the pace of our rapid expansion.

The Role

As the primary legal advisor to the CEO, COO, and board, you will move beyond traditional restrictive legal views. You will be a "yes-and" partner, focusing on proactive solutions that drive the business forward. Your scope will include:

• Manage the end-to-end relationship with external counsel worldwide, handling most legal inquiries internally to ensure speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Act as a strategic legal advisor to the CEO, COO, HR, Finance, Payments, and Compliance teams.
• Participate in Board of Directors meetings, manage corporate governance, and ensure all legal documentation is board-ready.
• Take full ownership of the company’s equity landscape, including ESOPs, grants, and cap-table management, specifically leading complex liquidity events and structured equity processes.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage global labor law issues in collaboration with HR.
• Oversee legal aspects of platform liability and content moderation, managing the risks associated with user-generated content and digital media regulations.
• Provide legal guidance on FinTech and payment-related regulations, including AML/KYC protocols and digital wallet compliance within the Creator Economy.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks with a proactive approach, focusing on solutions that enable business growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience, including a background as a Partner in a top-tier law firm or as a GC/Senior Legal Counsel in a global technology company.
• Proven experience navigating the global high-tech ecosystem and its unique legal challenges.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge in Commercial Law, Equity, Global Compliance, and Labor Law.
• Comfort participating in board-level discussions and advising executive leadership.
• Native-level fluency in both English and Hebrew.
• Exceptional ability to translate complex legalities into clear, actionable business advice for executive stakeholders.
• An all-arounder and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to roll up their sleeves.
