Research And Development Manager

We are looking for R&D Manager to lead the engineering organization and oversee the full technical lifecycle of a complex, multidisciplinary product—from development through large‑scale deployment, production, and field support.

Responsibilities:

• Own end‑to‑end development of a system that integrates Hardware/Embedded, Cloud/Backend, Edge/IoT connectivity, and AI components.
• Lead system architecture and operational frameworks for widely deployed products, including monitoring, updates, and overall reliability.
• Drive the development of scalable software, reliable and manufacturable hardware, and production‑ready systems.
• Build, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Personally step in to troubleshoot and resolve complex cross‑domain technical issues (HW, SW, Cloud, AI, Networking, IT).
• Ensure strong alignment and collaboration between R&D, Product, and Operations teams.

Requirements:

• Senior engineering leadership experience (R&D Manager / Director / CTO or equivalent).
• Proven experience developing and scaling production‑grade systems that combine hardware and software.
• Strong background in software engineering, SaaS, and system architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML pipelines.
• Experience supporting commercially deployed products in real‑world environments.
• Strong ownership mentality and excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in startups or other fast‑moving organizations.
• Solid understanding of mass production processes and hardware reliability.
• Comfortable working closely with customers and supporting field deployments.
