Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a Network Engineer
Role Overview:
Responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise network and security infrastructure, including firewalls, routing, load balancing and cloud connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage firewalls and implement security policies, including VPN connectivity
- Operate and maintain routers and switches
- Manage and maintain Load Balancers (F5 / Alteon)
- Operate networking and security solutions in GCP cloud environments
- Perform system checks, upgrades and security improvements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Hands-on experience with Layer 2/3 networking using Cisco switches and routers
- Experience managing Load Balancers (F5 / Alteon)
- Experience operating firewalls (CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Fortigate)
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, UDP, GRE, IPSEC
- Experience designing and implementing secure enterprise networks
- Experience with remote connectivity solutions (IPSEC / IPVPN / METRO)
