About the Role: The Information Security Manager supports the Chief Information Security Officer in developing, executing, and continuously improving the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and operations. This role combines strategic leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a strong security posture across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the CISO to develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and security programs.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including:
- Threat intelligence and monitoring
- Incident detection, response, and recovery
- Vulnerability management and remediation
- Evaluate, select, and implement cybersecurity tools, platforms, and technologies to support security operations and risk reduction.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and ensure risks are identified, tracked, and mitigated appropriately.
- Support compliance with SOC 2 requirements and ongoing audit readiness.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and external security partners.
- Participate in executive-level discussions and provide clear, actionable security insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of:
- Security technologies and security architectures
- Network security, endpoint security and cloud security
- Application security and secure SDLC practices
- Proven experience in:
- Incident response and security investigations
- Vulnerability assessment and remediation programs
- Risk assessment and security controls implementation
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents.
- Ability to design practical mitigation strategies and support incident response and post-incident analysis.
