Team Leader – SAP Development

Role Description

We are looking for a Team Leader – SAP Development to join our enterprise systems team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Central Israel (non-hybrid).

As a Team Leader, you will manage a team of SAP ABAP developers, lead cross-organizational technology projects, and work hands-on in a dynamic SAP S/4HANA environment. You will collaborate with implementation, integration, infrastructure, and architecture teams, and take ownership of code quality, performance, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of SAP ABAP developers
• Oversee end-to-end development tasks and ensure alignment with SAP standards
• Lead complex SAP S/4HANA projects across the organization
• Develop interfaces, enhancements (BADI, User-Exits), Adobe Forms, IDOC, PROXY, CDS Views, and OData
• Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and knowledge sharing
• Promote innovation and continuously improve methodologies and tools
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing SAP development teams
• 7+ years of ABAP development experience, specifically in SAP S/4HANA
• Deep understanding of SAP enhancement frameworks (Enhancements, BADI, User-Exits)
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Forms, IDOC, PROXY, CDS Views, and OData
• Experience leading complex technical projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with FIORI / UI5 development
• Experience with SAP CPI / PO / PI
• Background working in a startup or fast-paced tech environment
