About the Role
We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager, Business Development to drive strategic partnerships and commercial agreements across the company’s key programs, with an initial focus on the flagship Hyaluronic Acid (HA) initiative.
The role will involve identifying target markets, defining product specifications (e.g., IV/MW bands), and managing the partner qualification journey from early samples through evaluation batches and long-term supply agreements.
Reporting directly to senior leadership and collaborating closely with R&D, Operations, and Finance teams, this position will play a central role in shaping and executing the company’s commercial strategy through licensing, strategic collaborations, and long-term supply agreements with global partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead global business development activities and build strategic partnerships across priority markets.
- Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for the HA program in collaboration with R&D, operations, and executive leadership.
- Initiate, structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements including licensing, co-development partnerships, and long-term supply agreements.
- Manage relationships with strategic partners and customers, including CDMOs and manufacturing collaborators.
- Translate the company’s technological capabilities into clear commercial value propositions and scalable deal frameworks.
- Oversee the partner qualification process from initial engagement and sample testing through evaluation stages and long-term commercial agreements.
- Track industry trends, competitive developments, and commercial performance to guide pricing strategies and pipeline priorities.
- Help build and scale internal commercial processes while contributing to the development of the broader business development function.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles within biotechnology, industrial biotech, or chemical industries.
- Demonstrated success negotiating and closing multi-million-dollar commercial agreements.
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships and establish long-term partnerships with global organizations.
- Solid understanding of commercial fundamentals including pricing strategy, cost structures, and margin drivers.
- Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to coordinate technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution in dynamic and fast-moving environments.
- Startup mindset — ownership, initiative, and comfort working in evolving environments with limited structure.
- Based in Israel with availability for frequent in-person collaboration with internal teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience negotiating agreements with CDMOs or external manufacturing partners.
- Familiarity with regulatory and quality frameworks relevant to biomaterials, specialty ingredients, or APIs.
