We are growing and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our mission in developing life saving software!

The Role:

Viz.ai is growing fast, and as we grow we scale both in the number of patients we treat and in the number of products we have in our portfolio. Your mission will be to build self-serve applications, apis and the new data infra pipeline that will serve both Viz customers and internal users to manage.

You will:

Your responsibilities will span from design to implementation of a complex micro services based system that include implementing high scale pipelines and restful APIs. You will collaborate with various teams, including AI, product and support in order to deliver value to our customers and patients.

Our tech stack:

We run our infrastructure on AWS, with Python as our primary programming language. Our technology stack includes S3, DynamoDB, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Temporal, Prometheus, and many others. We’re always exploring new technologies that can help us work more efficiently and deliver higher-quality solutions. AI is a first-class citizen in our ecosystem, and we have access to a wide range of tools that empower us to build faster, smarter, and better.

• Mentor and advise other team members in code review, performance, scalability and more.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer building large-scale systems.
• Experience with micro services architecture and distributed systems.
• Excellent design capabilities: understanding requirements, architectural considerations and having the ability to design a flexible, reliable solution.
• Experience in data pipelines architecture - Advantage.
• Experience working with cloud environments - Advantage.
• AI Native: You treat AI as a core part of your workflow, using tools like ChatGPT to enhance productivity and output.
• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or in a similar field.
• A team player with a strong can do mentality.

We are located in San Francisco and Tel Aviv - this position is based in Tel Aviv.

Our office in Tel-Aviv is located in Menachem Begin 150, within walking distance of Arlozorov and Ha'Shalom train stations.
