Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our Quality team in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The QC Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that products, components, and assemblies meet all technical, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the production lifecycle.

This role reports directly to the Director of Quality and works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to maintain the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections (IQC, IPQC, FQC) of components, sub-assemblies, and finished products
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and contractual requirements
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports
• Identify, document, and track nonconformances, including initiation and follow-up of NCRs and CAPA activities
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to investigate and resolve quality issues
• Conduct supplier quality activities, including incoming inspections and deviation handling
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits, including preparation and corrective action follow-up
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Promote continuous improvement and adherence to quality processes on the production floor

Qualifications

• Practical Engineer or Technician in Quality, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace – preferred
• 3–5+ years of Quality Control experience in defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience working with complex electro-mechanical and electronic systems
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Solid understanding of manufacturing, assembly, testing, and system integration processes
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, and defense customer quality requirements
• Hands-on experience with nonconformance management, NCRs, and CAPA
• Familiarity with traceability, configuration management, and change control
