Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a SOC Analyst
Role Overview:
Cyber Security SOC Analyst responsible for monitoring, investigating and operating cyber defense systems in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and investigate security events using SOAR / SIEM platforms
- Work with security technologies such as Antivirus, DLP, IPS, Firewalls, Access Control and Mobile Device Protection
- Implement routine security processes (user accounts, permissions, password management, endpoint security)
- Identify and perform initial response to security incidents
- Conduct technological investigations of cyber incidents
Requirements:
- Availability for 24/7 shift work
- 2+ years of experience managing security products in complex environments – mandatory
- 2+ years of hands-on experience operating and configuring multiple security solutions – mandatory
- Experience investigating cyber incidents and attack scenarios
- Proven experience in incident response and/or reverse engineering – advantage
- Experience guiding secure development processes – advantage
- Strong familiarity with Linux environments and open-source security/monitoring tools
