Job description:

We are looking for a reliable and precise professional to help us properly maintain our accounts payable operation in Europe

The accountant will maintain and assist with processing invoices and payments functions. We are seeking an competent candidate who can assign payments to the proper GL accounts, work with vendors and other departments

Tasks:

• Manage AP process for European entities:
• Vendor setup
• Upload invoices
• Initiate payments
• Manage AP aging report.
• Perform basic accounting tasks including bank reconciliation, journal entries, expense reports
• Working in cooperation with other peers and departments within the organization
• Assisting with month-end close process
  
  

•      2+ years’ experience working in a bookkeeper or similar finance role within an accountancy practice.
•      High sense of responsibility and initiative to resolve issues
•      Fluent English - mandatory
•      Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
•      Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
•      Experience with European regulation/accounting/tax requirements/ VAT processes - advantage
•      Experience working with NetSuite/ Coupa – advantage
•      Intermediate level of French - advantage
