Director of Engineering

SNF AI develops an AI-driven platform for the Healthcare sector, designed to optimize resource allocation and increase revenue for our global clients.

We are now entering a major growth phase and are looking for individuals who want to take end-to-end ownership of the product and play a key role in our journey.

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Engineering to lead a high-performing team of 6–10 Full Stack Engineers. In this role, you will be at the heart of our AI product development, balancing people management, strategic technical leadership, and hands-on execution. As a leader in our R&D department, you will drive technical innovation, oversee complex architectures, and ensure we are building scalable, cutting-edge AI solutions that solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 6–10 Full Stack developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Hands-on Development: Remain technically "active" by contributing to the codebase, performing code reviews, and solving complex technical challenges alongside your team.
• Strategic Vision: Work closely with Product and AI teams to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and scalable architectures.
• Innovation & Excellence: Drive technical innovation within the team, staying ahead of AI trends and implementing best practices in software engineering.
• Execution: Own the end-to-end delivery of high-quality features, from initial design to production, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Engineering Leadership (managing 5+ developers).
• 10+ years of overall experience in Full Stack Development. Proven experience in a company developing AI-powered products. Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong background in System Design and Architecture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead through ambiguity.
