Network Engineer

Role Overview:

• Scrum Integration: Joining an organic R&D Scrum team to define, develop, and validate advanced network features.
• Feature Ownership: Collaborating closely with Product and Architecture teams to lead quality efforts, with a deep focus on the networking aspects of new features.
• Complex Environment Validation: Executing both manual and automated tests within highly sophisticated, distributed network environments.
• Cloud-Native Stack: Working on Linux-based platforms and utilizing Python for automation within modern containerized environments.
• Strategic Impact: Ensuring the reliability of protocols and switching technologies that support the world’s most demanding data centers.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of Networking protocols (L2/L3, OSPF, BGP) – Mandatory.
• Proven experience with Switching technologies and Dynamic Routing – Mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with Linux environments – Mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in complex R&D environments – Significant Advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Python for automation – Significant Advantage.
• Experience with Docker and containerized microservices – Advantage.
• Familiarity with advanced networking concepts (Segment-Routing, VPNs, RSVP) – Advantage.
