Applications Engineer for Wireless Communication Customers

ROHDE&SCHWARZ ISRAEL is seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Engineer with expertise in wireless communication technologies to support a diverse range of customers, including academic institutions and industry leaders. (THE POSITION LOCATED IN RISHON LEZION)

Your tasks

• Provide technical consultancy and support to customers in wireless communication technologies.
• Apply system engineering skills to define customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and integrate complex systems.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical training sessions, and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Develop tailored technical solutions to support customers.
• Manage technical projects while collaborating closely with customer teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Training and coaching customers through seminars and workshops on relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote company products and solutions effectively.
• Ensure successful implementation and integration of the company's products/solutions after sale, leading to high customer satisfaction and potential for future sales.
• Provide technical expertise to customers, enhancing their ability to effectively utilize the purchased solutions.
• Act as a primary technical point of contact for customers, resolving technical issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the support team to escalate and resolve complex problems, implementing fixes or workarounds as needed.
• Work with the product management team to influence the product roadmap based on customer requirements
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Strong background in RF measurements, working with equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators and Network Analyzers
• Extensive hands-on experience in wireless communication technologies and standards (LTE, NR, 6G, WLAN, Bluetooth) in all layers (PHY, MAC, Protocol).
• Strong background in Protocol testing and end to end data tests and measurements (TCP\UDP\Voice).
• Customer facing experience - advantage. Preferred Qualifications.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer support with a high level of service awareness.
• Demonstrated self-learning capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• High levels of initiative, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with wireless industry customers and academic/research institutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++.
