Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

One of our clients, a rapidly growing Israeli cybersecurity company operating in the cloud and enterprise software domain, is looking to hire a Senior QA Engineer – Platform Group.

The company develops a large-scale, cloud-native platform that enables organizations to gain visibility and control over complex data environments.

Founded in 2021 . It recently raised Series E funding round at a 6 billion dollar valuation.

The QA team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of a sophisticated cloud-based platform. The team works closely with engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams, driving high testing standards and fostering a strong automation culture.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join the Platform Group. In this role, you will take ownership of product quality, lead automation initiatives, and help shape testing strategy across multiple stages of the development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to validate requirements, expand automation coverage, and ensure stable, high-quality releases in a complex cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage cloud-based testing environments.
• Design, build, and enhance automation frameworks to ensure comprehensive platform coverage.
• Execute UI automation and end-to-end testing processes.
• Perform API automation testing and backend data validation.
• Write and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Promote automation best practices and act as a quality advocate within the team.
• Own product quality throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Serve as a key quality focal point between engineering, product, and business teams.

Requirements

Must Have:

• 5 plus years of experience as a QA Engineer testing complex enterprise applications.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in UI automation.
• Experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Strong programming or scripting skills in TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with API automation and backend validation.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with cloud environments.
• Background in cybersecurity or enterprise security products.
