Job Description:
• Writing monitoring rules, optimizing existing rules, and performing HUNT RETRO.
• Defining MONITORING USE CASES and writing investigation reports based on logs.
• Writing Best Practice documents in the monitoring domain and conducting cyber research in monitoring (detection and identification capabilities), including identifying and analyzing indications in a cross-organizational manner (SEARCH CROSS).
• Researching and alerting on attacker activity within monitored organizational networks at a national level, assisting in monitoring investigations מול SOC teams at Tier 2 level.
• Transferring investigation outputs for enrichment, and analyzing and processing IR investigation reports for the purpose of generating monitoring outputs (rules).
Job Requirements:
• At least one year of experience as a Cyber Researcher / Cyber Investigator.
• Extensive knowledge of cyber attack methodologies and the attack chain model.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in network analysis, including communication protocols (IP / TCP).
• Knowledge and experience in monitoring security systems and writing monitoring rules.
• Knowledge and experience in defining and implementing monitoring use cases.
• Knowledge and experience in scripting within monitoring environments.
• Relevant education.
