Back End Engineer

Role Overview:

• System Transformation: Joining a core Production team to lead a major architectural project: rewriting and scaling the existing system into a modern, high-performance Golang ecosystem.
• Technical Leadership: Taking a central role in Design and Architecture, while performing high-level Code Reviews and mentoring peers.
• Massive Scale: Developing backend services that support millions of daily users and process immense data volumes in real-time.
• Modern Stack: Working with a cutting-edge environment including Go, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Kubernetes over AWS.
• End-to-End Impact: Collaborating closely with Frontend and QA engineers to deliver robust, production-ready features that impact global digital discourse.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional Backend development experience – Mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience in Golang, Node.js, or Python – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in Cloud-based environments (AWS) – Mandatory.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and containerized microservices – Mandatory.
• Experience with high-scale distributed systems and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) – Significant Advantage.
• Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch).
