Microbiological Team Analyst - 228

We are looking for a QC Microbiologist to join our Quality Control team. This role reports to the Microbiology Team Leader and is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong laboratory skills and proven experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.

This position requires solid hands-on experience in microbiological testing within a QC microbiology laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform, handle, and interpret microbiological testing for environmental monitoring (EM) and water systems, including data monitoring and trending
• Conduct microbiological tests for IPC, final products, and raw materials (total count techniques and sterility testing in cleanroom environments)
• Maintain and update microorganism databases
• Execute validation protocols and prepare validation reports
• Interface with external laboratories performing microbiological tests
• Train employees on microbiological procedures
• Operate and maintain microbiology laboratory equipment and facilities
• Support microbiological testing activities for R&D
• Update microbiological SOPs, work instructions, and related forms

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• Technician diploma or B.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology
• Must-have: Hands-on laboratory experience performing microbiological testing
• Strong advantage: Experience working in a QC microbiology laboratory under GMP conditions
• Advantage: Experience with sterile products and cleanroom work
• Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and well organized
• Independent, motivated, and able to work under pressure and tight timelines
• Strong communication skills and positive mindset
• English – scientific reading required; spoken and written English is an advantage
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
