System Administrator

Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a System Administrator for a public organization

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join a large public-sector IT environment managing enterprise infrastructure systems.

Role Overview

This role involves administration of operating systems, storage, and backup systems in WinTel environments, or managing large-scale server operating systems (UNIX / IBM MF) with team responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration of Windows-based (WinTel) server environments

• Management of operating systems, storage systems, and backup solutions

• Support and maintenance of enterprise server infrastructures

• Development of automation scripts and operational tools

• Independent operation within large-scale IT environments

• (Optional track) Responsibility for large server operating systems (UNIX / IBM MF) and system programmers

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a System Administrator in an Enterprise environment – mandatory

• At least 2 years of experience in scripting and automation – mandatory

• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python – mandatory

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Linux SysAdmin – significant advantage
